Use cases

Recurring lunches, big meetings and company events

Plan the orders you repeat every week and the ones you plan once a year.

  • Recurring team lunches

Once ordering opens, find a few restaurants your team likes and reorder from your order history.

  • Meetings

Breakfast for the board meeting, lunch for the client pitch and something to keep the afternoon workshop going.

  • Company events

All-hands, holiday parties, offsites and celebrations, with typical serving sizes to help you order for a crowd.

  • More than one office

Tell us where your offices are. We're opening one city at a time, and knowing where you order helps us decide where to start.

What's planned

What you get at launch, and what comes after

Feed the Room isn't open yet. Here's what we're building for launch, and what's on the roadmap for company buyers after that. Roadmap items don't have dates yet.

Planned for launch

In development
  • Search by headcount

Enter the address, date, time and headcount. You only see restaurants that can take that order.

  • Serving sizes on every item

Menus show how many people each item serves, and your cart checks the total against your headcount.

  • Catering details at checkout

Add the on-site contact, delivery window, setup and utensil needs, and dietary notes.

  • Card payment and clear receipts

Pay by card. Cancellation terms show before you pay, and receipts list fees, tax and tip.

  • Order updates and reorders

Email updates as your order moves along, and reorders checked against the current menu and prices.

On the roadmap

After launch
  • Company accounts and roles

Company orders in one place. Invite coworkers by email as admins, approvers, orderers or read-only finance users.

  • Several offices

Saved delivery details for each office your company orders for.

  • Spend limits and approvals

Limits on price per head, order total and monthly budget, with an approval step when an order goes over.

  • Billing codes and spend reports

Cost center or project fields at checkout, and spend reports you can export.

  • Monthly invoicing

One invoice a month for company orders, paid by bank transfer (ACH).

  • Tax-exempt ordering

Upload an exemption certificate once and have it applied to orders in that state.

What restaurants pay is public on our pricing page.

Ordering for a crowd?

A half pan of an entrée typically serves about 8–12 people, and a full pan about 16–24. The restaurant confirms exact portions.
